It was March 10, 1993 when Gregor Meyer started construction on Pine Creek Golf Center. Mr. Meyer laughs, “23 inches of snow fell that day. It was a tough start but 18 years later, our mission has not changed – to help golfers improve their game.”
Mr. Meyer explains, “I was lucky growing up. Pete Snead of the famous Snead golfing family was the Pro at the Pittsburgh Field Club. Pete took me and a bunch of other boys under his wing when I was 9 years old. He made it fun and taught us which helped us fall in love with golf. My vision for Pine Creek was to create a facility giving all golfers access to that kind of experience.”
To Improve at Golf
You need a great practice area, expert PGA or LPGA instruction, and a Pro Shop which features top line equipment staffed by experts who know how to properly advise and custom fit clients to improve their performance. At Pine Creek, we are always trying to improve our service to our clients in these areas.
Great Practice Area
Power Game and Approach
Pine Creek features 70 tee stations with state of the art tee surfaces. 12 Tees are heated for year round practice. Our range also features a variety of targets from 40 to 240 yards so clients can practice all the shots they will face on the golf course. We also purchase the highest quality range balls available each year so our clients can get the most out of the time they have for practice.
Short Game
Pine Creek features a 10,000sf putting surface, chipping and pitching areas and a large sand bunker so clients can improve their scoring shots. This area is maintained daily and available to all our clients for daily practice or for lessons.
Expert Instruction
The staff of Professionals is led by Korre Madden-Class A PGA Profe, Jim Villani-Master PGA Professional, and Debbie Constantin-Master LPGA Professional, and Michael Brown-Class A PGA Professional. This staff is entirely devoted to teaching and their experience and skill is unmatched. The staff has developed Game Improvement Programs and testing methods so each client can design a program to meet their budget and measure their progress. Video imaging and computer analysis are used so each student can see their swing and compare themselves with Tour Pros to get a visual perspective to help them improve.
Custom-Fit Pro Shop
Features all the top-line brands but more importantly, when you come to Pine Creek, Jim Lynch and his staff help you invest your money wisely. At no additional cost, clients are encouraged to try various clubs and feel how they perform. Once the search is narrowed, they are able to tailor the fit of the clubs so you get the maximum performance. “We take great pride in helping our clients improve their game through proper equipment.
